Well it looks like the new version of the Facebook App for Android wants to take control of your tablet/phone – it demands that it can disconnect and reconnect your wifi, send emails without your permission and change your wall paper……

I remember the days when Comment spam made some sort of sense…

I've seen some pretty stupid spam emails in the past but I think this ranks right up there at the top for sheer stupidity.

Three curries with the hottest being a Madras. Also did Bombay potatoes as a side – the Chiman's spice kits are pretty good.

So after Thanksgiving we're returning the cultural exchange by having a curry night

Looks like it might be a  slightly wet but not snowy Thanksgiving :-(

Spent quite a bit of time yesterday playing with my new toy – an Asus MemoPad HD7.  

So fat I'm quite impressed with it – it's big enough to use as an e-reader or for watching movies without it being too big and some apps like Juice SSH and even Facebook work better with the increased screen estate compared to my Galaxy S3.   

I'm still getting used to the ASUS tweaks to the Android GUI and of course as a lot of my recent Android usage has been on my S3 where Samsung have done their best to completely hide Android under their bloated UI with all the useless apps that I never want to use but can't remove, its taking a little longer than I expected. I keep managing to find functions and features and then lose them again and spend ages trying to find them.

Actually I'm not where it says I am as there is some big party going on ..so I'm in the coffee bar


Must stop playing the game though !
