Got to get used to my old HTC Desire again as the S3 is all wrapped up in bubblewrap so it can go and have it's screen replaced

I didn't drop it – the screen cracked in a very nice curve across the top left hand side from near the headphone socket. Looks like a scratch but get the light at the right angle and you can see its right through the glass. No sign of damage or impact on the case or on the glass. Samsung basically say that its not possible for the glass to crack unless you've dropped the phone or sat on it but a lot of people are reporting problems with the screen cracking and its a very expensive job to repair – lets put it this way : the insurance premiums for 2 years basically wont cover the cost of replacing the screen once!
Now that Samsung have fixed most of the battery problems ( I couldn't get day of use out of it even with Power Save enabled) its not a bad phone but the build quality is, to be honest, a bit crap…. think that the use of less cheap plastic and either better poly carbonate or metal would have made it much better,
