Bit odd considering Microsoft are part of the anti-Google lobbying group Fairsearch which claims that Google are basically Evil and shouldn't be allowed to dominate search in the same way that Microsoft want to dominate search…..

Not sure what to make of it on a first listen, it seemed slightly disjointed but some of that might have been down to me listening to part of it in the car and then finishing it off at lunchtime on my headphones. One thing is very obvious – its Muse.. no mistaking that at all. Listening to one track I thought I might be listening to a Bond theme tune and it seems that others have made the same comment, and apparently even the band would like it to be too, and when I was listening to another I was reminded of Queen from the "The Game" / "Hot Space" era.
In many ways the album is "classic" Muse but in other ways its very different from their previous albums which is no bad thing really – bands develop and evolve and their sound has to change.
I think I need to listen to it again….

Got to get used to my old HTC Desire again as the S3 is all wrapped up in bubblewrap so it can go and have it's screen replaced

Well the leave is booked at work, and the plane tickets have just been bought – the tickets themselves are cheap, its all the taxes that makes them obscenely expensive. So all that remains is to book the hotel and the parking at Heathrow and get the tickets for the Concord Trailways bus at the other end.

Just spent about 20 minutes giving Kathy a quick introduction to Android on my old HTC Desire…. it's so tiny compared to the Samsung S3
