Well it looks like if you leave a HTC Desire in a drawer for a few months without using it they die totally. Won't even boot into recovery…..
I've tried a different battery, taken out the SIM and the additional MicroSD card but it looks like its toast.

Its going to feel a little odd not doing DBA work from November 1st but I'm sure I'll still be doing little bits from time to time and using those skills in my new job.
